Switchboard

Terms and conditions

These terms apply to every purchase you make in the Switchboard shop. Last updated: 1 September 2026.

1. Who we are and scope

The seller is Switchboard Keyboards GmbH, Oranienstraße 190, 10999 Berlin, Germany (details in the imprint). These terms apply to consumers and businesses that order through this website.

2. Contract

The products in the shop are an invitation to order. The contract is formed when you press "Buy now" in the checkout and we confirm your order by email. We may decline an order, for example when a product is out of stock or a payment fails, and then refund any amount taken.

3. Prices and payment

  • All prices are in euros and include German VAT where it applies.
  • Shipping is free; we add no fees at checkout.
  • You pay through the payment methods offered in the checkout. Your payment provider processes the payment on its own page.
  • Your order is reserved while you pay. If the payment does not complete, the reservation ends and the stock is released.

4. Delivery

We ship within 2 working days to the address you give at checkout. Delivery times and countries are described on the shipping page. Risk passes to you on delivery.

5. Right of withdrawal

Consumers can withdraw within 14 days without giving a reason. How, and what is excluded, is explained on the returns page. The full instruction on withdrawal (Widerrufsbelehrung) is shown before you order, on your order page and in the confirmation email, together with the model withdrawal form.

6. Warranty

The statutory warranty of two years applies. Please tell us about a defect within a reasonable time so we can repair, replace or refund the item.

7. Liability

We are liable without limit for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and under the Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for the breach of an essential contractual duty, and then only for the foreseeable damage typical for such a contract.

8. Data protection

How we handle your data is described in the privacy policy.

9. Governing law and disputes

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live remain unaffected. For businesses, the place of jurisdiction is Berlin. We are not obliged and not willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
